Stages Power meters allow riders of all disciplines to train and race with power. The Stages Power is preassembled on a left crankarm, thus it ranks among the group of crank-based power meters. The Stages Power is available for many alloy and carbon crank models from Shimano, Sram, Cannondale, Campagnolo and FSA. The Stages Power only adds 20 grams of weight to the base crankarm which makes it one of the lightest power measurement options on the market. Assembling the Stages Power meter is easy as athletes only need to exchange their existing left crankarm and do not have to interfere with drivetrain components. Strain gauges record the force that riders generate during his ride. The integrated accelerometer captures the riders’ cadence without the need of external magnets. Via Bluetooth Smart and ANT+, the Stages Power can be connected to all common head units (Garmin, Polar, Sigma, Suunto, Wahoo, and others) as well as to smartphones in seconds. The captured power and cadence data allow riders important insights on their training and race data which permit efficient planning and control of training efforts.
